Not really right now. As I said on FOFC yesterday in a thread in which I made a reference to her, she has been non-stop busy and just hasn't looked at te boards lately. She was working on getting her real estate license (which she got) and then right after that got jury duty on a murder trial which she is still doing. My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

they sequestered my wife when she was 8 monthe pregnant. B'tards.
One the plus side they checked with her constantly and provided fresh fruit and bottled water and such. But still sequestering an 8 month pregnant lady.
Oh and congrats on the real estate license. Hope it pays off for yall.sigpic

And yeah, since she got her license she had to work a full week filling in for her bosses assistant and then has been in jury duty for now two weeks. She hasn't had a chance to think of using her license. Should be a good thing though. My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Didn't say she should not have had to do jury duty just that she should not have had to be sequestered. The judges and lawyers know ahead of time which cases require it and IMHO the sequestering was asking too much. And FWIW the guilt/innocense was not at issue. The state wanted another jury to determine wether this chick got the death penalty for killing her boyfriend. She literally ran the guy down in a convenience store 4 blocks from their appartment and unloaded a handgun into him. Bleeding heart jury gave her life instead of the death penalty. Guess thats why the defense wanted 8 month pregnant women on the jury - lol
I had to do jury duty once, not sequestered thankfully. What a complete waste of time. Got selected for two trials. On one two house painters got in a fistfight at work and the loser was suing the winner - pathetic. On the second one a prisoner was suing the county for something or another it got settled out of court, but the jury had to spend almost the whole day in the deliberation room with nothing to do but stare at each other. The whole experience was made worse by the fact that I had to go to work after the testimony cause I worked second shift. I also had to be there at 8am on numerous occasions for no reason other than to say "here" for the court. Quite simply it was one of the most useless wastes of time I have ever had to endure. Completly ruined a month of my life, hey but I did get a coffee mug with some judges name on it - yeah.sigpic

I came home from a TDY a few years back, and was pulled over a week after I was back for a broken taillight. Then I spent the next four hours in jail because a bench warrent was sworn out on me for missing jury duty. I was tagged while I was gone, The Ex got it, and called the courthouse. Then my Commander and Shirt wrote letters while I was gone. I guess that just wasn't a good excuse.Originally posted by KobeckDidn't say she should not have had to do jury duty just that she should not have had to be sequestered.
