    2. Also, hope I'm haven't been put on Santa's bad-boy list for a banner,

:thnx: in advance on both requests
What kind of roster change could Wichita make at this point that would in any way effect your gameplan?

Isn't this the exact same thing that I asked for last week, and everyone ragged the shit out of me for it?

Anyways, you have tried to sign a guy, blah blah blah. It's fine I guess. I'm probably just being an ass because I have shit to do here.

We should simply not do midweek exports for special events. If you cant sign a guy in the regular stage thats your problem. Staff your team accordingly and live with any failures to do so. Trades should be the same way. Make the deal and if you have to deactivate a player for a week to avoid injury then so be it. The only time it might make sense to do a special is the week of trade deadline and Im not sure if that is true or not. I would only say that to make sure a team could make a switch just before the game is played so the deadline isnt artificially moved forward by our Sunday/Monday schedule.
Now, I personally got no problems with it. I could care less, whatever makes the game fun. But don't rag the fuck out of one guy for it, and then a week later, do the same thing, and not say shit about it.

I think the big difference is that the Assassins only have like 47 guys on the roster compared to the 53 allowed. Meaning the Assassins have made a decision to trade 6 roster slots of depth for CAP space.

I don't have a dog in this hunt, but that is my take on it.

Wichita had technical problems. Oakland made a bad decision and offered the minimum for a guy that he needed, who decided to sign elsewhere. There is a difference.

I don't want to beat this into the ground, but thats incorrect. The bottom line is, he didn't have enough players on the roster. He had the same opportunity I had during the free agency stage to sign a player, and wasn't able to do it, just like me. There is no difference.

Just make one rule and everyone has to stick by it. He can sign a player during the game stage, and if it messes up the depth chart, so be it. One rule for everyone, not different rules for different owners. Bottom line.

                  I agree Jave.

Although I disagree that the circumstances were equal I do agree that there should be a uniform rule regarding extra FA stages. Historically the IFL has allowed them when necessary.

This would be a good time for Jeff to toss his opinion into the mix as he usually has a way of clarifying a situation like this.

as usual Mules FO is willing to go along with whatever other IFL owners want to do.

You can't just look at the bottom line, you have to look at how the bottom line was arrived at. You had your export in and didn't get your player. Your fault. dberner had an export that was messed up for whatever reason and it didn't get in. Maybe his fault, maybe not, I've had corrupted imports before. You had first shot at whoever you wanted. dberner did not.

Bottom line, if you need a player on your roster, you either offer more than the minimum salary or you give multiple offers. But you can't import your export in commissioner mode to make sure it isn't corrupt. Bottom line.

Your missing the point. It doesn't matter what the reason is. Unless the commish made an error, there is NO EXCEPTATIONS. One rule for everyone. If Dberner wasn't paying attention and send in a file for the wrong stage, to bad for him. He had his shot. The FA stage was run, and no one but him had a problem. To bad.

Dude, I understand it's your "thing", but relax. Regardless of anyones opinions I was for giving you an export last week and I was for giving DBerner an export this week. Both decisions had everything to do with not wanting to see a guys team get messed up on a gameday and thats that.

my last word on this is that we should just decide how we are going to do it and go with it. Im good either way.

Now, as for the difference btwn situations there is a lot whether it helps your argument or not Jave. You tried to cut the edge because of cap and lost. You should suffer the consequence. I have cash and for whatever reason a broke dick export. That is unlike your broke dick in RL.

I hear your point. It is legit that you feel singled out for the same thing. Just keep the differences in mind. They are real. Now see point 1 above which is either way is fine with me. Lets just say it now and stick with it so nobody else feels like a victim.
