    WEEK 2 PREVIEW

    Anchorage 1-0 AT Pittsburgh 1-0
Pitt looks to get in the win column, in a division thats always tough a 0-2 start would not be real good for the Power. Meanwhile the Lynx look to continue to show why they're a perenial top team. A long week traveling cross country can't be good for Anchorage though.

    Boston 0-1 AT Vermont 0-1
Boston had elevated hopes coming into the season but are staring down an angry dog today as Vermont was surprised last week, will they take it out on Sante and the Dragons?

    Cleveland 0-1 AT Reno 1-0
The Wolfpack may be making a statement about their place in the NFC West hiearchy here early on in the season. A loss today and Clevelands great run last season may end up looking a world away.

    Dakota 1-0 AT Portland 0-1
The Spirit are on the road but they brought their rain dance with them. Dakota looks to jump out of the gate quickly and maybe not make the NFC North such a tight race at the wire.

    Fresno 0-1 AT Madison 1-0
The Demons are looking to regain form this season while the Chaos, a pre season sleeper pick, are trying not to fall to 0-2. This should be a dandy of a game between 2 teams trying to make statements.

    Houston 0-1 AT Tulsa 1-0
The Cows are starting to moo, it's udderly possible that this team could make alot of noise in the NFC this year. Houston has alot of heart, but they might be put out to pasture early today.

Iowa City 1-0 AT Salt Lake City 0-1
An intriguing matchup here. SLC says it's a rebuilding year but anytime you get Booker and Tart at home they are dangerous. Iowa City wants to reclaim some AFC North swagger, a road win today would go a long way.

    Lansing 0-1 AT Albuquerque 1-0
Lansing was another sleeper pick to start the year but the loss of QB Todd Terrell and a week 1 loss may already have dampened some of that enthusiasm, a road trip to New Mexico is no way to cure what ails the Ogres.

Lawrence 0-1 AT West Virginia 0-1
The Mountaineers may be able to put up a better fight than the Beasts at this point.

Little Rock 1-0 AT St. Louis 1-0
Little Rock traded 2 huge parts of their team and really dont look any worse for wear. The Cardinals lost McMurray for 4 weeks. A chance at revenge for Imperial Bowl 3 has to be on the minds of the Toads.

    Louisiana 0-1 AT Columbia 1-0
Columbia is it's usual high powered self, but Louisiana has a way of making alot of game close. This should be a fun battle.

    Montreal 0-1 AT Vancouver 1-0
The battle of Canada, the Tories and Wigs are battling in Parliarment as we speak. I have no idea what im saying. Montreal needs this one more if they hope to contend. Vancouver just needs experience.

    Newark 1-0 AT Hartford 1-0
Newark maybe senses that they contend for the division title this year, a road trip to cool New England presents a tough battle as the Grizzlies are looking to hop back into contention this year. Crespo will get his yards, it's how the rest of the battles play out that will be fun to watch.

    Norfolk 1-0 AT Orland 1-0
The Vipers keep rolling along, the Pirates come off a surprise win last week with another huge hurdle in front of them. The very fact that the Pirates may have some swagger back makes this game alot more inriguing than initialy expected. Might not be a close one once it starts, but the storyline going in makes this a fun game to keep an eye on.

    Texas 1-0 AT Murfreesboro 1-0
Texas has alot of power, Murfressboro has a taste of victory. The signs say that Texas should win this one but like a few other week 1 surprises, the Mules could make a statement with a followup victory today.

    Wichita 0-1 AT Oakland 1-0
Alot of trash talk between owners this week. Poor Poor Outlaws.
    I luv British womenz.

Being a realist I know that i'll have a tough go of it against Little Rock today but hey, I plan on going all the way this year so i'm gonna have to show some balls in games like this.

From a 23-17 OT loss (the 1st run) to a 40-7 asskicking. Brilliant!

Good game Matt, I decided to get a little cute, and should have just played to my strength. Gah! Its even more frustrating when the winning TD is a TD return, plus we finish the game on your 14. If we have more time outs we win.

Still, I did learn some very interesting information from this game. Non intuitive, but very interesting.

DAMN, lost my RDT Salvador for LIFE. He was a rock at the position since the league began. Going to be tough to replace him :injured:
Thats 2 years in a row I have lost a player on the defensive line forever. Thats rough.

Wichita played us well, they are just way out of their league. I give em credit for putting up a fight though. Not a bad win overall, I will take it.

Reno should feel lucky to get the win but they played better than us in the clutch. We did nothing in the second half not even sure my qb even completed a pass. Looks like we could win the AC north again this year by default even though we are playing some younger guys.

Game was competitive thanks to Texas TOs.

Attendance was above 60k and it was a competitive game.

Hellriders will not want to look at the injury report after this one - 4 Out and 2 Questionable from this game but Texas had its revenge as they gave Otis Peterson some sort of Viral Infection making him questionable for next weeks game.
