AFC Playoff Predictions

Predictions for the week:

Hartford over Norfolk - The main reason I am picking the Griz is that we match up well against teams in our division. I have put my defensive woes behind me, and I think my offense has a little more firepower than any team in the division outside West Virginia.

Albuquerque over Anchorage - Unfortunately for Anchorage I think Albuquerque has too much firepower for them to keep up.

St. Louis over Texas - Yes this is at Texas, but I think the St. Louis defense is too tough for the Hell Riders.

Louisiana over Little Rock - I think the Toads play in the appropriate city. After Louisiana is done with them, they will be hiding under a little rock.

If the games come out this way, Hartford and Louisiana are the #5 and 6 teams in the AFC.

As much as i would like to argue your Louisiana over Little Rock prediction, I can't.

But i will be giving that game everything my team has, and I really fucking hope to finish the season with a win.

EDIT : Actually I may be wrong here, I just noticed the game between myself and Louisiana that Louisiana won. The only reason I have it now according to the standings is the 3 way between Louisiana, myself, and Norfolk. If these three teams finish with the same record some interesting scenarios come into play. I'm analyzing it now

I actually thought Albuquerque had the best shot to get in out of the 8-7 teams, but I was wrong. Basically, what happens is Norfolk owns the tiebreak in a three way, I forget how but they do, and in the two way with Louisiana you lose.

Now if I lose and Louisiana loses or gets the division crown, you have the tie break over me due to a better record against common opponents. Pretty much, if I lose I need you to lose as well, and either St. Louis or Louisiana to lose. If I get into a tie break that is anything besides conference record I lose, which is the third tie breaker.
