Some big names in Imperial League history have decided to retire. Not a lot but a few...

CB Charles 'C-Dog' Yon, STL (Suicane will be crying when he sees this.)
QB Jessie Garcia, ORL/CBA/HOU (Part of Orlando's Imperial Bowl I team)
SLB Don Ferrel, ABQ/IWC (Three year starter at LB for IWC)
QB Johnnie Loving, MAD/CLE (Won Imperial Bowl II with Madison)
DT Jeromy Lang, REN (4 year starter for the Wolfpack)
SLB Gregory Avila, MAD (Had injury problems but pretty productive for 4 years)

Domingo Persaud MLB is retired. He was the glue on our defense since the league inception.

Isn't Gerald Sanders in a wheelchair? Shouldn't he at least have a walker?

Jessie Garcia was the man for me for a short while, looks like i'm in for a QB hunt this off-season, seeing as StClair is pretty much out for 2007 as well.

Sanders will be 39 years old on August 29th, 2007. So basically in preseason he turns 39. My guess he hangs itup after this season but who knows?

Sad to see Jessie Garcia go. Dude was a winner regardless of attributes. He just flat won games. Maybe Hynes could use him as a QB coach?

I was tempted to re-sign Avila but didn't want to get caught with the signing bonus if he retired. Glad i made the decision to just let his contract run out.
