Thanks. I thought penalties were going to kill me yet again (i'm 2 away from leading the league - frustrating), but turnovers saved me. Towards the end I had this crazy feeling this was going to be one of the games where you score like 2 TDs in a minute and make it a real close one. Then you march down, grab one, get the onsides kick, but luckily that's as far as it went.

It was a good game, looks like I can remove the motto from my sig now

Silly you. You can't expect to beat a team that has better ratings than yours. It'd be unrealistic.

I fucked up! Somehow I started a scrub at LT instead of Kao. I'm not sure what happened there :?
Nelson was under pressure all day with this new make-shift OL. Then, mysteriously our HC pulls Nelson and puts in Doyle Manure  Manure goes a nice 1/8 passing.
          I love my coach also

NWK 4 Caffrey returned the ball 47 yards to the CBA48. Tackled by CBA 80 Chapman.

CBA 17 Medina kicked off 72 yards from the CBA25.
NWK 4 Caffrey returned the ball 28 yards to the NWK31. Tackled by CBA 25 Duffy.
Justin Whitaker killed us today catchin 10 of 11 balls thrown his way.

We also lost another player, with our starting CB gone for 5 weeks. It seems like I get a new starter hurt every freaking week!!!!!

          I gotta go cool off!!!!

I was just looking at that game. I noticed something right away and it's not good for Dakota.

Hooten came back for this game, and reinjured himself. Out for another 5 weeks.

He got McGwires best performance this year though to help him get he win
Doh...what was I thinking...I thought we were going up against Pittsburgh this week, or I still would have rested Hooten. Oh well. Thanks for the props SLC. We continue to surpass expectations. Including my own. And it doesn't hurt to beat an impressive Stallions team. Hopefully you can beat Pitt next week.

Brito's two INT's were huge, along with Dunning's fumble recovery inside the red zone.

Carmack and Andrews got back on track this week, by intentionally running the football.
I know the headline in the Dakota papers tomorrow:

              Supreme Brito

Good win for Pittsburgh, but I am not happy with it. We had a chance to blow out Madison early, but couldn't convert:
                Code:
Quar	Began	Poss	From Plays	Yards	Result
                   	1	14:51	1:48	OPP 37 5	16	Missed FG
                   	1	12:50	0:43	OPP 20 2	20	Touchdown
                   	1	9:52	2:06	OPP 44 5	40	Interception
                   	1	1:24	4:54	OWN 20 7	45	Punt
                   	2	10:14	0:50	OPP 35 3	-1	Punt
                   	2	7:16	1:50	OPP 19 3	8	Field Goal
That's 5 of the first 6 drives starting in Madison territoriy and only getting 10 pts out of it. But the offense played well enough to win.

Sorry for injuring all those players BOSS

Now it's on to stopping the SLC attack....

Well, it was ugly, but a season saving win this week vs Vancouver. With SLC going down to Dakota, we remain 2 games behind in the race for the division title.
We also get a week off next week, which we desperatly need to regroup for the second half of the season.

                  Game balls to:
Richard Ventura- I tried earlier in the year to trade him, and I am sure glad I didn't. He has really exploded since then, and is a key player on this offense.

Gaston Lomeli- While unspectacular, he gets it done when we need him. 96 yards and 2 touchdowns on 25 carries, he was THE reason we won this game today.

Head coach Britt Hatcher- Oustanding game calling this week. Hamilton was not playing his best, and realizing that, he puts Lomeli in charge, insuring the win.

I owe Dakota 5 hookers and 2 truck loads of beer. Payment will be incomming

                  GO PITT!!!!!!!

Actually IN a game vs the much hated VooDoo 8)

Mules had the ball around midfield under 2:00 left in game down by 5, and then the second TO of the game sealed the game for Louisiana.

VooDoo #32 Jones crushed the Mules early rushing and receiving. VooDoo were 11 of 19 on 3rd downs, including like 5 of 5 on 3rd and 10+ or something like that, just no way too win playing D like that

Newark... Thanks for the game... It was my first game against you... Sorry to hear about the position issue. Hayden is going off this year... He sure did take advantage of the Kao not being in the lineup.

Whitaker continues to make his case for a legit #1 in the IFL.. His big games in the playoffs last year lead to the trading of Ramos and he has done nothing but continue to improve...

5-2 with 2 big rivalies coming up... But there are 2 words that could really work in the Fires favor... Julian Cartagena who is ready to return to the Fire starting QB position...

Thanks for the assist Jeff, now it's on me to take over the division as I head to Anchorage, then a bye, then I host your ass. Should be an interesting 3 weeks for me. I've won 6 in a row, but still get no love from anyone
