Yes, it is true. I did sim the games over and over until Suicane won. The last thing we needed was pictures of him naked. :?

Ok, it was one sim, but I considered it if he lost.

Well, I just noticed why I won against Pittsburgh.

Alvin Mann went down early and is out for 9 weeks.

Pittsburgh handled me pretty good last year and I figured I would lose this time around too. Kind of a cheap win I think, but I won't turn it down.

Also, Dixon had a nice game, 26 carries for 121 yards. The surprise comes from the other backs though. Henry went 22 carries for 92 yards rushing w/ a TD. And Harrison had a 66 yard TD run as he went 2 for 66 yards. I just signed Henry to fill in for McKelvey in the #2 RB spot, and Harrison is my #2 FB, who got some playing time because of Leigh's injury.

Ouch. Good game Cleveland. I completely didn't expect you to come out passing like you did.

I had a bad feeling about this game going into it. I was hoping to scrape out a win. It didn't happen!
Crespo re-injured himself on a delay of game penalty :? He's now 6 weeks til full strength

Nelson played poorly, and our defense was porus. I was in way too many nickel packages while trying to stop the run! I gotta figure out what the hell is going on!

This one hurts a lot! Time to go for a walk and blow this loss off!!!!

Sweet, I can put my underoos back on.

Hell of a game RoadRash, friggin eerie how similar the statlines came out, it was almost a carbon copy, possesion for possesion game. When we kicked that FG with almost 2 minutes left I was scared as hell you would put together a final drive. Real good game.

Now I gotta prepare for Norfolk and get back to .500

Boy, that NFC West is shaping up to be one hell of a battle.

It's only week 3 but things are looking like buisness as usual in the NFC with only 1 or 2 exceptions as it seems as if Reno/Vancouver could get left behind pretty early if they don't step it up.

The South and East have 7 very good teams fighting for position (Sorry HJ). And the North looks like it'll be a war of attrition between at least 3 fairly evenly matched teams.

Cleveland is really stepping up behind new managment, thats gonna be a fun division to watch right there.

South is the South, alot of bumbling, stumbling, fumbling.

Wow can we just ignore the second quarter? We only allowed 3 points in the other 3 quarters. Orlando is struggling out of the gate. I have got to tweak that gameplan. We cannot get any pressure on the QB and we are not scoring enough. 3 FF's which we recover 2 of and we still cannot capitilize on them. Good game Reno, you basically dominated us.

DAMN, this was a defining game for the Assassins! We played very well against one of the best teams in the league for a full 60 minutes and didn't get anyone seriously hurt. My defensive gameplan still needs some tweaking as I still have not fiqured out how to stop the run, but the "W" is on the board.
I cannot say enough about the return of Derek Nelson and Burl Nickles. These guys really stepped it up, and despite both of them dropping over 30 points in rating, they are playing like champions. The Nelson/Beebe matchup turned out with Nelson dominating, and Beebe lost for the season with a torn lateral knee ligament.

Once again, a new season, but the same rivalry appears to be looming as SLC is proving once again to be the real deal, going to 3-0. This shits getting good.......

all week I thought I'd sit Crespo, then last night I talked myself into keeping him in the lineup and just reducing his PT. DAMN! I should've just sat him!
Next week I'm on the road to TUL, then two more huge games vs. Little Rock and Lawrence.
This 2-0 start could all be for not!
