  • Week 15 Discussion!

Where do I begin? Things just got REAL interesting.

I will just comment on the Mules-Toads battle right now I guess. Congrats Kobeck, I had a strong feeling I would lose this game, and I thought I would spend time for the first time in about 4-3 weeks working on a gameplan from scratch to try and prevent a loss here. Oh well. my rookie RB Brian Dixon had the worst game he has had this season. 2.6 ypc, 2 fumbles (1 returned for a TD) only thing that kept the ground game going was my FB.....

You seem to have gameplanning down now Kobeck, your team gets better in the season(s) to come, i think you could be a pretty damn powerful team. Great turn around after that 0-5 start.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

oh, and I went 3-2 on my Game(s) of the Week predictions this week. I had the Vancouver-Reno game almost exact as far as score goes. But i was completely wrong about Allan Ho having a big game, he was shut down.

Never vote for the Stallions to win!!! You jinx'd us

Also, my lead story photo on my team page is not showing up

Well, I'm on a losing streak and it's because I don't have a D-line. I predict that we won't be making much noise for the rest the season. I will have to fix that in the offseason.

Hats off to Cleveland. They stopped James Tart even though he got 22 carries---not sure why we went for it on 4th down 3 times when I'm set UNDER 50 on that.

Usually when you beat a team in T.O.P, commit less penalties, convert more third downs, get more first downs, are +2 in turnovers, you win

SPECIAL TEAMS IS WHERE CLEVELAND WON THIS GAME!!! CONGRATS CLEVELAND

I can't believe Orlando is still surviving after losing QB Hynes. I think it is our front 7. The game of the year is next week against Newark. Whoever wins that one will go to the playoffs. There is no wildcard from our division. Just glad we eeked out that one against a good Columbis team.

Damn it, I lost again. . .and to Fresno. . .this is painful, my O has disappeared off the face of the earth leaving my High School D left to their own talent level. . which is bad, really bad

Next week, STL and Columbia. . .this game means the division for both teams

West Virginia and Cleveland have both clicnched a playoff berth, Portland has too with a head-to-head tie breaker of 2-0 over the Mats

The other 5 divisions are all neck and neck, with both south teams with a tie for the title, and the other 3 one game apart

The last 4 games I lost were by 4 points or less

              I am a D-line away from a playoff run. . .

errr, was, I'm mathematically eliminated from a run this year

I opened up a quick 10 pt lead which I thought was pretty secure considering Newark was using a below average back-up QB and yet that same QB ends up playing damn good ball and even wins Player of the Game. Meanwhile Tobias "I throw at least one pick every 15 passes" Stanfield kept up his pathetic pace by handing the ball over at our own 14 yard line. Ay Carrrrumba!!!

                  Congratulations Newark!

In other news maybe Murfreesboro Mules' Milton Martin (say that 3 times fast) will get the attention I believe he's been due now that he's overtaken the league lead in INT's and also has a very respectable 11 passes defensed. I haven't heard his name much this season yet he's been near the top of each DB catagory for quite a while now.

Not saying I could of done anything but It only took about 2 minutes of watching the game to realize that I had made a bad gameplanning decision, I was blitzing way too much against such a good offensive team, I've learned my lesson. That being said, my game against Columbus next week is even bigger and I'm looking oh so forward to it.

No amount of gameplanning can force this team to a win. I just suck.

St. Louis vs. Columbia is huge, I can't wait for it.

And West Virginia is one hell of a team, not sure how much you could have done there....
