Cut day and Misc observations

Looks like there is a WR mentor and a Center mentor out there. And that was just with a quick look.

I setup my starting lineup, and noticed that I only have 1 position that did not start last year. Everyone else returned. Hopefully Beard can fill Jones shoes, if he does, I can't see how I do not perform well this year.

Problem is, that Wichita did almost the same thing last year and they went from First to worst. I think that strength of schedule is a huge factor in repeating a division title.

Sometimes the boom bust is just confusing. . .

Lindsay Ochs a young CB on my team.

From Beginning of the season through training camp endded up with a +2/-5 change .. .

Seems like a bust, right?

During the preseason his change was an additional +3/+2

Possible Boom?

For a complete change across the offseason of +5/-3

Now lets go back a bit, from start of 05 to the start of 06 he was +7/+1

For a grand total of +12/-2

I signed him in 2004, so I am not sure it is worth it to go back and check. I know the variance for a scout on team and off team could be a big difference. . .so for the point of tracking this player, I may need someone who has had the same scout the entire time and has never had him on thier team to look back. Any takers?

Anyway, my point is that a -5 drop in future is usaually cut fodder, but the -5 seems to be an anomoly, his current has steadily climbed, an dwhen he maxed out hi current to future, he pushed his future up in the pre season. This would say boom if it wasn't for the -5 drop in TC.

Has anyone else seen anythign like this happen? Not injury related, of course. Ochs has not been injured as far as I know.

I don't think is a bust or a boom. I would say it is an adjustment of his potential, while he is still getting experience and getting better over all. He just may not get as good as first thought.

Larious was a mistake. I did not mean to do it and did not realize until the export that I submitted it with him on IR. I was looking who I needed to cut and did a Fubar and forgot to back out and remove him from IR and Cut Fann. Nothing I can do now. Hell I just signed him to an extension I would prefer him active.

I have managed to F up a bit recently. Kinda pissed at myself..... What else can I do but just accept it.

Not down, just frustrated I missed that. I moved dukes to FS to cover until he got back. Now Dukes is the man.
