Here are some observations at this point in the season:

4 teams with winning records have allowed more points than they have scored (Albuquerque, Hartford, Tulsa, and 9-4 Salt Lake City)

3 teams with losing records have scored more points than they have allowed (Wichita, Iowa City, Newark)

James Tart has more rushing yards than 14 teams

Ambrose Jones (WR, HOU) has been the target of 104 passes, caught 51, and has yet to score this season

DE Adam Land of Portland has more sacks than Iowa City

St. Louis has a winning record despite converting less than 30 percent of their 3rd downs

4 teams have lost more penalty yards than their leading rusher has gained (Columbia, St. Louis, Montreal, Murfreesboro)

10 players have more INTs than Oakland

2 defensive players have recovered more fumbles than West Virginia

Only one QB with more than 7 starts (Gerald Sanders, WV) has a rating higher than 86.8 (15 QBs in the NFL have 86.8 or higher after week 4)

QB Virgil Sepulveda, BUR, has more rushing yards(492) than Murfreesboro's leading RB (424)

QB Pat Williams of Louisiana has more than 4 times as many INTs (17) as he has TDs (4)

QB Manuel Willoughby has been sacked 49 times this season. The next closest QB has been sacked 32 times

That furthers Wichita's complaint about losing too many close games by critical turnovers and horribly timed penalties. I think the fix is in. :P

This is more telling about AFCS than bragging but the Mules are the leading scoring team in the AFCS with 209

Willoughby is sacked so much because Mules OL and Recievers all stink, oh also Willoughby is immobile. Guess the Mules will set a record yet. Gotta love RB by committee, too bad the Mules committee is so awful.

Which goes to my first point. How on earth are the Mules the leading scoring team in the AFCS????

here's another one for you. Portland has the second best Passing Offense, and 3rd worst Passing Defense.

yet they have a great run D, and seem to still keep their opponents scoring down....
