Looking back at my draft in '04, my first 3 picks have gone for shit.

RG Wayne Ostrowski took a bomb this year
LG Malcom Singleton was "good" but took a small ratings hit this season
C Joseph Yeager is no longer in the league

Boy do I look like a genious 8)

I have 4 players from that draft, 3 that I picked. 1, WR Vinny Schwartz was undrafted and I love the guy, solid #4 WR for me.

My players left who I picked...

LT Roy Van Der Woude, taken at 2.1 (my highest pick). He is a bust and a backup now. His lack of pass blocking skills kills any chances of him being anything but a fill in for the rest of his career.

DE Carl Kronin, taken 3.2 as a LB, converted him right away to DE. He has been a starter since he was a rookie and although he has had a couple good games, he has not been real strong. Hopefully he will get close to maxing out in the ratings this year and will become more productive.

DE Hugh Champion, taken 3.23. Has been a disappointment somewhat, although has not been able to get much playing time as a backup to Hernadez. He could have been a possible cut this year or next, but his slight jump in ratings that just happened make me want to keep him around now. (Ha, I just checked this. He has only been in 7 games in two years and only 1 last season.)
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

I was a bit mixed on the 2004 draft:

Jay Gaden DT, in the second round was a huge boom.

My 4th rounder, P Gordon ended up so so

My 3rd roudner, Tyrell Adkins I just traded for a decent pick. He wasn't a boom or a bust, but he didn't play a whole lot for me.

I didn't have a first that year, and my 5th - 7th I think may have retired, except for Winston Ames who I traded to Newark.

Gaden by himself raise my 2003 draft up to about a B-

That's weird that the two top drops came from top ten guards from the 2004 draft. Did Cuomo go down at all?

I showed up right after the draft, so I can't take credit for anything. But even with his drop, G Butch Anderson (1-3) is still a stud, at least the drop will hopefully allow me to resign him cheap.

Darrin Koss (5-7) is my starting OLB going into camp, and started last year with decent results.

Will Anderson (6-4) started the 2004 season, I had good hopes for him, then he busted. He'll enter camp fighting a losing battle with Marshal Peters for the backup FS spot.

All other decent draft picks were traded away.

Cuomo didn't go down, in fact he's now 71/72-96/100, I don't remember his potentials being that high, could have gone up a bit.
                I luv British womenz.

Those are run and pass blocking, right? What about strength, that is where Butch lost his points at.

                      BUMP

found this just rummaging through old threads. Don't recall off the top of my head which QB's were in this class except Scott and Dwight Burger.

                      EDIT

Just so happens WVA's QB Deron Markel was drafted this year also. A little irony for tonight's game
