Good grief! Going in for a crucial score, get down to the 26, fumble, and they take the ball back the other way for the winning touchdown.
Dang it! Out gained them too.

Oakland may be right about Madison being weaker than their record - after a great victory last week, I lose this week and let Lansing right back in it.
On the plus side, we just can't seem to get injured to save our lives - in stark contrast to one of my other leagues where injuries to all my stars are just killing me.

gonna jinx yourself with a comment like that, watch out for a big injury now...lolOriginally posted by MadisonGMOakland may be right about Madison being weaker than their record - after a great victory last week, I lose this week and let Lansing right back in it.

ya, i am debating about bumping up the injury rating next season, I have had it at both 100 and 110 this season, and the results have been pretty much the same at each setting. But there are a couple of teams who have been racked with injuries, so I am not sure.....My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

PLEASE don't adjust the injury setting. My coach is already excellent at providing my team with injuries. BTW, i just want to throw out to you guys that I am very happy with the amount of exports yesterday. We had 23 of the now 30 teams with owners send in exports. A couple of those guys like to just get their gameplan put in on the FA stage, or just hold it over from the previous weeks sometimes. And 1 or 2 guys I had expected them to miss exports because of real life things, so really there are only 4 teams that were unable to get a gameplan in. That is pretty good, better then I expected really with the back to back days we did.
Thanks everyone. My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

3 freakin points. . missed a damn field goal as time expired. . .awful way to end a season
2 3-point losses to top ranked teams
best I can do now is 8-8, which isn't good enough for the playoffs in the AFC WC Race
Cleveland I believe clinched the AFC North division title. . they split the two games with Witchita, is it points for and against to break ties? or common opponents? wait it's division games. . .so maybe they havn't clinched.
Here it is in case anyone is curious
Tie Breakers:
1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
5. Strength of victory.
6. Strength of schedule.
7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
9. Best net points in common games.
10. Best net points in all games.
11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
What a wild season, and it ain't even over yet. . . Anybody know if Walmart sells Run-D?2005 AC North Division Champions

Damn.
How come my team has to take me through all the emotions each and every week. Luckily, we won this game in ot, of course and it was definitely a game of huge plays.
Btw, Sepulveda and Max Brown had huge games for us.
We are starting to play decent ball although I must admit I was scared to death after giving up over 300 yards in the first half. In the second and ot, we held them to just 75 yards and yes they had the ball first in ot, so that was a plus.
Again, we are part of a great game.
Go Bolts!
