  • Draft Thus Far?

How does everyone think they have done thus far in the draft?

I can't complain with my draft so far. I've picked up 3, possibly 4 starters (I might have a QB controversy on my hands...) and given my luck with QBs if he doesn't start, he will at some point in the season due to injury.

But, we have a starter at LB, S, and CB (given that most of my CBs outside of Seifert are nickel and dime backs). The only downside so far is that I hoped to get some youth at the some of my other positions, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. I have also added a quality backup at RB which I have been looking for.

All in all, I give us a B+. The Cleeland and Jones should star for us, and is Markel booms, give us an A. Knight will start for us, and should be with us for a long time, but he is nothing special, just a solid pickup. My last two picks will address depth.

      A straight C.
Although I now have the highest number of slightly better than mediocre backs in the league. Yay!

Unsure really. Mainly cause I traded some picks for talent. Including that then the draft has been really good, but still gotta get those rookies signed and into camp :x

We will see after Training camp, but in theory I just drafted 2 guys for the O line that are about 15 points above all of my starters. We need road graders for our new Ho at RB.

Personally our big change came in trading and FA. Orlando is very happy about our new acquisitions.

My big free agency splash is going to be next year. I can't wait!

That said, our squad should be much better this year, I have upgraded several areas.

I had a decent draft, nothing special. I really beefed up my offensive line, hopefully Timmerman can have his first 1k season. If Pierce remains 65ish after camp i'll be happy. I wish I could have grabbed a beefy DT as well, but after losing so many close games and watching my kicker miss 2 FG's in a 0-3 loss, I had to grab Whiting.

I actually think you improved your team quite a bit. Sometimes small tweaks can make a larger difference than wholesale changes.

You should die for picking Whiting. I lusted after him since the draft came out and I saw him. Add to that, Savage is just a piece of shit, (16/27 69/74 PAT.....), How in the fuck do you miss that many fucking PAT's??????

I almost gave up a pick next year to move up and grab him, but my luck with kickers is so bad, I just decided to wait.
