Stage 3: Ogres Add Depth at Linebacker

The Horsetooth Ogres added depth to their linebacking unit today with the signing of free agent inside linebacker Bob Martin, a player valued for his strong run defense and sharp play-diagnosis skills. While he’s expected to serve as the primary backup behind starting middle linebacker Cody Doyle, the Ogres believe Martin’s instincts and ability to read plays cleanly will make him a useful rotational piece. His addition gives Horsetooth more stability in the middle and bolsters a position group where reliable depth can make a meaningful difference over the course of a long season.
