GG Montreal. Texas won in a defensive battle. QB Grotrian was absolute garbage in his homecoming in Montreal, and Texas won in spite of him. Two INTs returned for TDs from Texas, one coming early in the game and one late near the finish.

Montreal got out to an early 6-0 lead until the first INT was returned, then the score was 7-6 in favor of Texas for the majority of game. We were able to put together a Touchdown drive culminating in a 38yd rush TD from Springer which put us up 14-6 late in the 4th. Montreal tried to drive down the field but was intercepted for a TD and the game final was 20-6.

Next week is Tulsa, we lost to them last season so there should be some added motivation for our football team. The division is all but wrapped up with a 3.5 game lead and the #1 seed is in sight with 5 weeks left.

We were on the back foot for a lot of the game but managed to keep you guys at arms length and pull out an important win. The roughing of my punter mid way through the third quarter at 13-7 was crucial as we would go on to get seven points from that drive and pull away

Yes, the roughing penalty turned out to be a killer for us. But moreover, pretty much all day long when we dared tread beyond the 50 yd. line, you throttled us. You've got another great season going....good luck down the stretch.
