Special teams seized the day!! Holmes almost broke loose on a 45 yd kick-off return in over-time and k Clarence Reeves had a big game with a 55 yd boot. We lost Dice King for 3 weeks but Rhea came in and looked starter material for awhile with a key 1st down run and a 5 yd td pass to Bishop in ot. GG Dawgfan im sure ill see you in the playoffs if I can make it without King...gl till then

GG Madison. We started out strong scoring 15 points on our first three drives then did nothing much except for a 56 yd TD run by Springer and a Field Goal here and there. Texas is on an early 3 game win streak to start the season. Now we hit an early bye in week 4, then an onslaught of 5 games against teams that were playoff caliber teams last season. Coming out of this stretch 5-3 or better bodes well for us. We are at full health and our OLB Atchison returns so our Defense should get a boost to the overall pass rush and run defense. Next up is Calgary!

GG James, I'm sure you feel like "no, it was NOT a good game, sir." The early season can be weird, my offense was asleep for two games and then we showed up against you, and I honestly can't provide a reasonable explanation outside of some good dice rolls or whatever.

One other weird side note from our game: I don't see why our coaches pulled both starting QBs like 4 minutes into the 3rd quarter at 27-0. This game, sometimes...

My joy at our dominant performance was tempered by losing my best player, DE Xavier Baxter for 8 weeks.

You typically have our number, but I was hoping to be more competitive My offense was horrendous and you freaking had 6 red zone visits to my. 5, I mean 5 times zero, yes zero red zone visits. On to Montreal, and no offense, if the playoffs come and I make it, hopefully someone will knock you out before I have to see you, as my chances aren't all that great against you ..

GG again James, yeah the last several I have gotten but it's almost always been a one-score affair. Wasn't expecting this. But yeah I know the feeling man, gl and I expect you'll be in the mix at the end of the year.
