Does rust affect injuries?

Rust is determined by number of snaps, not games. Around 70 snaps seems to be the minimum needed.

I've never heard rust impacts injuries. Per the game help:

The Player Information screen contains a wealth of information about a player, including basics like height, weight and home town. You can also find information about a player's personality, including his leadership qualities, which is vital when calculating team chemistry. You can also learn if a player has received enough playing time so far this year to overcome any seasonal rust issues, which can affect on-field performance.

Injuries during preseason is bad, can we have a vote to remove them from all preseason games? Seems pointless to have it turned on.

All I know is more times than not when I've played a rusty player in the game he gets injured. Example lost an O-lineman went though trading for a replacement, he was a bench rider for the other team, first game out for season. Logic would also say that a player that is not conditioned a.k.a. rusty has more chance of injury but at times I don't know if logic is used in FOF.
