  • Who is the biggest disappointment this year in the IFL?

The most disappointing team in the IFL this year is West Virginia. Not only have they cruised through the regular season each of the last two years, but they have also done it convincingly. This year, with largely the same roster, they have bungled their way to a 7-5 record and have looked awfully anemic at times, but they have also looked extremely good at times.

However, I expected a much better year from them this year.

If I had to rank my list it would be:

        1) West Virginia - for reasons stated above
        2) Wichita - They have a good roster, played well last year, and are laying a big egg this year.
        3) Albuquerque - I really expected them to compete this year. I guess they will be next year's Norfolk.
        4) Oakland - I thought they were a year away last year. It looks like either the players need more seasoning, or Jave needs a new game plan!
        5) Hartford - I expected this to be a tough year on defense, but a better year on offense. Of course that went down the tubes when Mueller got hurt, because I had to redo the offense when Hickman went in. BUT, with a fairly high draft pick, this might be a rejuvenated team next year.
        6) Anchorage - I thought this team overachieved a bit last year. This year I thought they would compete for a WC but fall short. They did, but they fell WAY short.

        2004 IFL AC East Runner-UP - Wildcard - AC Runner-up 10-5-1

True! Nothing more to say about that! :P

At least we get a good draft choice and yes we're definitely going defense this team around. What the hell was I thinking drafting Richardson with the 8th pick. I knew I should of stay put and not do any moves during the off-season (which we might do this yr despite the losing year). That's got to be the biggest draft blunder yet. Okay im out till the off-season! My boys better hope to not get hurt if they want new contracts.

A cursary glace tells me you'd be picking in the #5 spot if the season ended today. Lots of teams with 2,3 wins battling for position.
              I luv British womenz.

How can you not vote for me? I was picked to win the AC by Jeff! I was picked to win my division across the board on the IFL preview. Instead I'm looking at a top 5 pick. Oh, the irony....

Back with a vengeance next year, and with two first rounders this season I'm definitely going to be able to patch a hole or two. All of my starters are signed, most for at least 3 years. All but 2 of my defenders are rated over 60 in potential (and only 2 of those haven't hit 60 yet) 4 of my 5 lineman are rated over 60. If only I could just find a damn QB that A: didn't get injured and B: didn't suck

I have to go with the Matadors, since I picked them to win that division.

I do think one team is missing from the list, Madison. Although tey can bounce back some, who thought they would start 0-5? To me they are a bigger disappointment then Anchorage, who I thought would be in trouble the second they drafted a QB in the first round for the second year in a row.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

You hit the nail on the head there. Yes, you did start 0-5, but your are only a game out of the division lead, AND you have momentum to boot. I would love to be in that boat!
