Ok, Stage 1: "You can only bid on your own players,"... but the contract button is inactive????

You can only bid on restricted FAs (with the black dash next to their name), but not unrestricted in stage 1.

Yeah Fa1 is a wasted Stage...basically if you wanna Devise wicked contracts I guess I don't know. lol

However, I do sometimes extend 1 to 4 year players and restructure contracts as that gives you a better idea of available cap. But missing this sim is not horrible.

It would have been nice, if you could also resign unrestricted players as well. They don't have to resign though. It would be a little close to reality. When players come off of salary, your cap space is better and you can selective resign players who contracts had expired. Since the game is no longer being developed, then it is what it is.
