    Hey Matt,

with 1400+ yards rushing and 4 games to go, I'm betting AC breaks the single season rushing record (1799) set by Sweet in 2003

If we could have won this one, we would have been back in the playoff race.

On a side note, I made a change in our defense when Martin came back that is hurting us short term, but helping us in the long run. Scott projects to be a better OLB than Boyer or Scott, so we have moved him to the strong side spot, and then he shifts inside to spell Martin. Short term this is hurting things, but at this point, I am looking long term with this team.

Hickman is turning into a pretty damn fine QB. We need to tone down some of the turnovers, but I think this might be the first time ever where we have gone over 300 yards in offense in back to back games. We have actually been able to go down field fairly consistently.

Jamison is having a fine year, and is starting to get some catches out of the backfield. Dostie might be expendable at the end of the year since Jamison can handle the same load as far as receiving goes.

It just figures that my defense falls apart just as my offense begins coming around. Watch out for us next year, if the offense continues to progress!
I wish I could say it was a good game but it was really sloppy play but exciting to watch. For me anyway!

              Front page updated.

Sorry about the picture Matt, I owe one to Crespo and will make one his week for him. I just didn't have time today and I made that one up a week ago looking forward to that week 12 game.

Also, you probably won't see any Combined Power Rankings this week. I just don't have the time to hold up my end right now, and who knows where MrBigg is. He is getting is exports in but must be a busy guy. Anyways, the Power Rankings will return next week, I promise this.

Players of the Week will have to wait too. I will throw up week 11 which I have ready, but weeks 12 and 13 will be put up when I get home. I think everyone know the week 13 offensive winner anyways.

It is official. I hate Madison. No really I do. I have never beaten them, ever!!! And now we are handed or rather slapped down with our worst loss against them ever.

Neat point of interest. Hynes is slumping fast. He can only see the opposing jerseys and is on an interception throwing binge.

Goals for the offseason - If we make it to the playoffs I will be impressed. I think we are still all bunched at the top and someone is going to get axed on the last game and they will have a good record. Anyways we need a stud offensive lineman and a new corner. I will also be looking for Flynn's replacement. That boy is just plain old.

If you haven't seen the front page, look at the Ugly in the G,B,&U section. You may hate them more after that.

I must say I'm quite impressed with my boys. Just one more win and we can't possibly do worse than .500, which was our goal for the season. Now to get that win.....

OK now I am really pissed!! I will never forget that playoff loss to the Demons. We dominated the game and lost on late field goal. Now they are piling on late in the game to pad stats?

Wow this may be just enough motivation to gut it out. Hynes needs to get his head back in the damn playbook.

"We are the X's Hynes, they are the O's!!" Coach of the Orlando Pirates at half time against the Madison Demons when explaining the skinny post after Hynes had thrown 2 costly interceptions.

Congrats AGAIN Bigwood!!! That's 3 out of 3 you've won from me since the IFL's inception and I think I've been a 6-10 pt favorite each game.

I feared this game for a reason.

Luckily Orlando lost too so all is not so bad!

And Newark, you are now most certainly "in it"!!

I don't know about that. My divisional record is horrible. It would take a real collapse by the upper echelon for me to have a chance.

and just for accuracy - the game did NOT reach OT, rookie QB Reeves, who was finishing the game for Manuel Willoughby - who still has a complete vote of confidence from the Mules Front Office - threw a pick at midfield wit 30 seconds left in the game. The seals nailed a 51 yarder on 3rd down to win the game.
