GG Bigglesworth of Los Angeles. Sadly, that game shattered my season:
    • RB Lightheiser out 50 weeks with compound leg fracture
    • TE Ruben Ellis out 44 weeks with MCL knee surgery
    • S Lonnie Page out 46 weeks with ruptured elbow tendon.
    Owner since 2034
    League's Worst Record: 2036, 2045, 2046
    2057, 2061 IFL Champions
2060 - Undefeated regular season, then lost in 1st playoff game
Two QBs drafted #1 overall, then traded to others who made them into stars
Featured on Sweat Socks, 2056 and 2061 Editions (tm)
2045 Legend of the Game inductee Jay Keith (started 10 games for us)
Hall of Fame Inductees: WR Randy Fife (2048), TE Luis "Bundt Cake" Bunting (2060)

It hit you all at once, me it has been a slow bleeder.
I already lost my starting RB a few weeks back for the year. I Lost my starting center for a few weeks and I lost my starting guard as well. They are now healthy and I lose my OT. Also, and this is big, my starting QB (who has been paying well the last few weeks) is now out for 5 weeks which is effectively for the season. The rook will get his shot now.

Anyway, you are hot harder, if my calculations are correct, you will be missing them at the start of next season as well.

Oof yeah that still sounds like a rough list of losses, Pike. But yeah, just in one game, and then after I watched the recap (yeah I watch my games on Solevision lol), checking and each one was 40+ weeks, just brutal. The shine of that 8-0 start is officially gone lol.

This just about defies all odds. You think about the NFL where the injury occurrence is much higher than the FOF setting, and yeah, devastating injuries occur, but not three such ones in the same game.

Is the setting lower than the NFL? It certainly doesn't feel that way. The injuries may be less frequent, but the do seem more severe than in real life.

Some GMs have played longer than me, but I do have 10 years under my belt of playing MP FOF. I have never seen the horrible luck Sabean experience with 3 serious injuries in one game. Extremely bad dice rolls.

And for reference, the IFL injury setting is 50. A setting of 200 mirrors the NFL injury level. I couldn't find solid data for all injuries, but just take a look at concussion/ACL/MCL injuries in the NFL. We are far below those levels.

                Injury Data Since 2012 (nfl.com)
                IFL Champions: 2031-2032, 2035, 2040, 2044
                AC North Division Titles: 2031-2037, 2039-2049, 2051-2052
                Playoff Appearances: 2030-2049, 2051-2052

The NFL have injuries that more or less nicks and scratches which may cause them to miss practices, but otherwise the player is healthy for the game. From what i can tell the game doesn't simulate that, but you would know more than me.

All good. I'd complain more but in week 12 Georgia lost 2 guys for the year (one for 40 weeks) against me. I'd like to have some games without devastating injuries on either side, just for a change of pace
