My Defensive Tackle was a wrecking ball with 7 tackles 2 assists and 5 sacks. He has 9 on the season.

It was a coming out party for our rookie 6th round draft pick Tyrus Hardy. Hardy rushed for 118 yards on only 8 carries. He leads all IFL rookies in rushing with 273 yards and a nice looking 6.66 average/attempt.

We needed this division win as London continued their red hot start.

If you are open to a tip, I'd suggest revamping your offensive GP. Columbia had 8 familiars against IWC and 15 against Hartford.

Absolutely open to tips. I have revamped the gameplan already this season.. again.. I am going to go back... again... to try to get things going. This has been a problem over multiple seasons and several gp revamps. I will keep at it.

I feel your pain. There is no easily method to test a GP.

I normally set up a multi-player test league where I can model a team with similar players to my true MP team (via trades and assignment of players as commish). Of course, you need to use the same playbook and have a OC with the same or greater play limit and offensive style (balanced, smash mouth, etc.). It is a fair amount of work but pays dividends. I don't test each year, only for a new offensive style that I have not used previously. And after the initially testing, you have a solid GP that should be effective for that offensive style. As an example. when I was in the FFL, I used the same smash mouth GP in that league as well as here in the IFL. But I do tend to build teams with similar personnel.

The offensive GP guide can be used to create a GP that is manually adjusted. During testing, I base line 10 seasons of a rexed GP and record key stats such as passing stats, rush average and even 3rd down success. 3rd success can be crucial and often overlooked. These results can be used to compare to my GP. Then, I run 10 seasons of my GP. I normally make tweaks and run another 10 seasons until the results improve. You also need to check the logs for familiars. Some may consider 10 seasons a small sample size, but that has worked for me.

Testing is important. Even what would seem to be minor changes to play sequencing (the game plan script) can have a big impact of pass-run percentages and pass target distributions.

Good points Dawgfan! I had to chart out my plays to figure out what the heck I was doin...lol just noticed this year I have a bunch of west coast favorable plays I have yet to use but I'm going with what we have for now...so I won't mess it up too much. Also I would say have at-least 4-5 different formations so you won't get those familiars...agree there.
