Quick Question

So I have a quick question for people. I know I am personally terrible with checking the forums on even a semi regular basis. I'm wondering what other forms of media do people normally use to communicate on the internet? I know personally I am almost always checking discord for multiple other things that I am involved with. I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile into looking at that for means of communication. I'm not suggesting we change everything off of forums, but say for example trades, would it be beneficial to have that instant communication with other people and something that could be a reminder of incoming and outgoing messages? Something where it doesn't require logging into a specific website to see those communications.
