Tanking

What does the IFL feel about tanking? I see some teams purposely tanking by sitting their best players, you would think they wouldn't make it that obvious. Is it OK to tank in the IFL?

i agree. I too would like to understand the league’s position.

First of all, I never received a PM. I don't police every game, so a heads-up would be appreciated. Took me a minute or two also because Vancouver is near the bottom alphabetically.

On to the issue, the IFL does not condone tanking. While not specifically spelled out in the rules, it would be covered in:

"4b. Catch All Anti-Douchebag Rule:
This is a catch all rule involving tanking, being a dick on the board, etc. Thankfully we've only had 1 or 2 instances guys trying to subvert fairness in the past and they were dealt with swiftly. I have no desire to make up a ton of rules regarding fairness and dickery. If you're trying to subvert fair play or being an asshat I will deal with you."

This is also my favorite rule because of the words "dickery" and "asshat".

I will PM Bylanta to take care of this ASAP or be removed from the league.
