That's a tough one to take. You guys built up a lead but we started scoring points in the fourth only to lose a fumble in the red zone in OT. Putting up over 550 yards of offense and coming away with a tie may come bac to bite us down the line. Add in the long term loss of CB Lonnie Weaver and it feels like a loss.

It was a tough game for both teams. The IWC defense played so well through 3 quarters only to get torched for 329 yards in the 4th quarter and OT. And both teams missed makeable field goals which would have won the game in regulation. But you're right, that fumble at the IWC 1 yard was a killer. Perhaps Edwin Thurman watched too much film of the Cleveland-Denver "Fumble Game" from the late '80s.
