    I am sad to say.....

    The Columbia Fire is an open team.

    I am not even sure what to say here really. He has his reasons, and I am cool with it and understand.

    Other then that I just want to say that this league has been in a large part influenced by Jeff. He was one of the first guys to join up (I remember him being the first but I could be wrong) and has had a big part in shaping and running this league since then. He was a life saver more times then I can count actually.

    Replacing Jeff the owner is the easiest part (even though I hate the thought of someone else having the Fire), although I know many guys will miss him in that aspect of things. Replacing him as Assistant Commissioner is a whole other story. I am not sure how things will play out in this area.

    Well I should shut up.

      This really sucks! I know that there's a lot of guys who don't always get along with Jeff, but he really is one of the big reasons why this league is among the best. I know Cringer is the commish, but I still see Jeff as a "co-commish". There's a reason why he's been owner of the year every year. I hate to see you go, man!
      Atleast give us a "why"!

          It's no secert that Jeff and I have had a few differences of opinion, but it was just that.

            All I will say, on behalf of Jeff, is that it comes down to a real life thing from what I am told. He needs to cut down on online commitments. I support him, and understand why he made this decision.

              I know I'm really going to miss him. I check the board atleast 5-6 times a day, and he's often the only guy here.
              I got a lot of respect for that kid. I hope he's doing OK. I'll pay for his freaking internet bill, if that's what it takes 8)

                    just my two cents here.

                    If possible I suggest that Columbia remain open, say till the end of the season. Just in case things change and Jeff wants to return his team would still be waiting for him.

                        No one fills the Columbia team................

                        It is my vote we retire the team to CPU control............Please Cring, do this for me and Jeff. No one takes control of the Fire..............ever. The team is there for Jeff if his ass ever comes back.

                        Who the fuck will take over Jordens number in Chicago? What about Montanas number in San Fran?

                        To me, its that important....................

                        Columbia will NOT be filled.

                          I have thought about it. Not really in hopes he comes back, because I am not sure it would be so soon, but just because I have a hard time imaging someone else controlling the Fire. Shit, they are easily my main rival.

                            Tell him to just cut his FOF time in half from 12 to 6 hours! That will really decrease his online commitments.
