Were on the board finally. Been a long wait to get our first victory and we beat a team that has dominated us over the last couple of seasons. Nice game Jeff....

Yet again the VooDoo put a spell on the Mules. Another redzone TO for Willoughby cost the Mules points. Willoughby had 5 picks and 2 fumbles - complete lack of respect for the ball. I kept a list of breaks as I was reading the log and it went about 11 to 5 for the visiting VooDoo, of course 4-2 teams would tend to have good luck agianst 0-6 teams.

Very dissapointed with the result, but the Mules will be ready for Cleveland next week to end the home stand.

That Tex-Dak game might have been the craziest game in IFL's history. A QB rated in the teens came off the bench to throw for 226 yards and lead Dakota back from 28-17 to go up 36-28, only to then throw an INT when the team was in FG range in OT. Then I had my mouse pointer on the close button of the viewer when I saw that Andrews fumbled it. The two teams combined for 1,041 yards. The week before, they combined for 570.

Pittsburgh wins their 5th in a row, to lead the division outright for the first time in team history. Got out to a 17-0 lead an never looked back, thanks to the defense. Tulsa's longest drive of the first three quarters was 25 yards.

Unfortunately, someone hooked Madison up to the rejuvenation machine, and it looks like a great divisional game next week! Irby can't play that well two games in a row, can he? BTW, just as Jeff retires, the formula to beat Columbia became obvious: pressure on the porous line. Julian is like Kurt Warner back there in the pocket.

I thought for sure it was going into overtime.

Your defense was very opportunistic. I seemed to be in your half of the field quite a bit during the game but rarely came away with a score. I think I started the game by punting from your 47, 46 and 37 or something similar.

I was hoping to be the one to expose that! That's what I love about this game, no matter how good a team is, if you game plan well you can beat them.

Yes! Anchorage finally gets their first win against Fresno 19-10. It's always good to get a win against Fresno since they are better than people give them credit for and they game-plan well against us. We finally looked like a team out there, well sort of, still got some things to work on though. Special teams won this one for me...we had good returns, Carter was huge, plus we blocked a punt. On Offense we're just gonna have to live with whatever Richardson does as we're sticking with him and we need to give Campbell more carries. Defense needs to improve in coverage and on 3rd down but I think we finally figured this blitz thing out. Hopefully we can reel off some wins now...Not!

Houston trailing 17-3 heading into the 4th qtr.

Coach Hamrahi gathers the team around and gives a great speech.

"We've lost half our games this season by 3 points, and 4 by under a TD. Last week we were embarrassed by the Cards in a blowout, and it WON'T happen again two weeks in a row! Let's show these Clawz the Renegades way and get within a FG so we can lose in style"
