I knew it. 6 turnovers on the road

I least Oakland and Reno lost too. Figured Vancouver was due being 0-3 an all. That's two division losses where my team was favored so I think the corresponding plummet in power rankings is justisfied. Good thing is, there is no way we can play this poorly again this year so at least that's out the way.

Another close loss by the opposite of 'clutch' Renegades.

7 out of my last 15 losses (since the start of 2004) were by a FG or less, and 10 of those losses were by a TD or less. Frustrating to say the least

Good news is we have a bye week next. The bad news is we lost this week to Iowa City 10-3. Defense played well and held Iowa City to 10 points but without Hairston the offenese just could not get anything going. Iowa City's punter should have been the MPV of the game. On average, my drives started at my 14-yard line and he pinned me inside the 20 count it 6 times. I think I will be fine if I can get Hairston back and still be around the .500 mark. Witchita is up in 2 weeks.

Wow what a game with Oakland. We had to do it in OT. Both QB's had near perfect days, but Dewitt got the upper hand. Good game Oakland.

On a down note we lost our TE and another D Lineman.

that was a helluva good game. Your defense played well when their backs were up against the wall. Hynes was great, and Flynn played well less than his 13yrs exp. Losing Ginn hurts you a little. He had some big catches for you.

It was a good week, all in all.

HOLY COW WE WON! It was ugly, as both teams drove into the opposing team's red zone early only to throw interceptions, but Mueller did not lose the game for us, and Jamison had a great game, with 102 yards on 20 carries.

Still, this win puts us exactly where we were at this point last year, let's just hope the results are the same!

Mannnnnn, what a classic battle. Great win Pirates, your QB was fucking flawless in OT, we couldn't stop ya. I wanted to shut down Edmonds, has I thought you would go to him all day. Fucking Hynes got the ball to anyone he wanted, all day long. In fact, your entire team did whatever they wanted to do, I can't believe the score was that low.
At least SLC lost again, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Pittsburgh comes up big in a big game, 17-3. This is the first game in the IFL where I have felt in control of the game the whole time. Defense was great, but Carmack had only 2 rushes for 10 yards.

Still waiting for Rodrigez to get on track, but the rushing problems in this game was the fault of the blocking. 6/33 on key run blocks is not going to get it done.

Big match-ups next week for us: CBA at DAK, and PIT at LRK. With Madison at 0-4, it could do a lot to show who is the favorite in the division.

                              Some notes from other games:

                              - A 72 yard punt by the Tulsa punter, is that a record?

                              - Reno's Groth dropped a potential game-winning TD pass as time expired

                              - A couple of teams went pass happy with leads late in the game, and it almost cost them. LRK was intercepted on first down with just over 3 minutes left, and it was returned for a TD to put Texas up by 3. Tulsa had 1-10-MAD38 (02:24) up 7-6, got sacked on first down and wasn't able to run the clock out, giving Madison a chance.
