  • FOF Viewer (Ready for the IFL)

All right, ladies. My work is finished. Here is the util and instructions on how to install it. Remember, you must have been storing the IFL game logs for this utility to be of any use (if necessary I can provide these). Major props to FOFC member '3Ric' for his work on the Viewer.

These logos need to be placed in the logos folder.

    http://the-dkbl.com/ifl/logos.zip

The fof_teams.col file in this zip needs to be extracted to the main directory of the utility. It should overwrite the currently located file.

    http://the-dkbl.com/ifl/fof_teams.zip

Edit the default.txt file located in the main directory with a text editor (if you want the available games to pop up by default) so it looks like this:

    C:\Program Files\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2004\leagues

    That should be it. Enjoy!

Got a question: Is there a way to "rewind" a game?

Not really. You'd have to close the current game and then re-open it.

Yeah, it essentially replays the entire game and lets you watch the play-by-play of the entire game.

does it need everything set up in the proper directory before using it. in other words if D is where i keep my game does it all need to be in c:/solecismic etc. to work properly because of the code written into the viewer itself.

No. The only thing you might want to do is edit the default.txt file. This will prevent you from having to dig for the gamelogs every time you run the viewer. Otherwise, everything should work just fine.

Just as a FYI, every once in awhile the file numbering for the boxscores and the logs will get a bit goofed up. It happened with the Week 13 games, since they were ran on my FOF installation and not Cringer's.

The games should still be viewable within the Viewer, you just need to look for them a little as they won't be in order.

I was just looking through the old threads and I could find this:http://www.imperialfl.us/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=425 but not the one you just bumped.

The phpbb search function is absolutely retarded.
