Wow, defensive struggle in Reno. Gotta give it to my offense in the first half, they sure moved the ball well. Mueller looked good, Hickman is still a bit of a mixed bag.

The running game was anemic, but Hartman sure looked good. The defense again showed how good it can be. Each of my DL starters registered a sack. The secondary looked good aside from Richardson, but he may be looking bad because of breakdowns in the LB corps.

The offense gained 198 yards in the first half! If it can keep that up, I'll be thrilled!

QB Caro passed for a touchdown and no picks, but much more impressive was his 13 for 14 performance! 8)

Good performance by the Power. Cajigal got his first sack, and added a forced fumble.

I know it doesn't mean anything, but it is good to see Madison getting spanked every week here in the preseason

Any meaningful injuries this week? All I have access to is the box scores right now...

In the meaningless preseason battle of Texas, Houston comes out on top from late game heroics by backup QB Stevie Lashley.

In more important news, half the preseason is done and no major injuries yet for the Renegades.

                Um..

-Hartford lost what looks like a nickel/dime back back for 14 weeks and a bunch of his team came down with the flu

-starting WR for Orlando (Soliz) is questionable, full recover in 8 weeks

-Brady Bessette, starting SLB for Portland, is out for 15 - sever hamstring pull

-a decent backup guard for WVA is done for the season, ACL surgery - 53 weeks

Who gets the flu in August? (except for me, who missed training camp senior year in high school because of pneumonia)
