Good thing we don't play you! I wouldn't want to get any more "dookie" on our helmets by knocking it out of you!
OK, maybe I'm going too far with the "dookie" comment!

I still say the Cardinals can make a run at the division, and I firmly believe that if we make the playoffs we will win it all, afterall, we've got Charlie Yon on our side. (How sick are yall of hearing me go on and on about 1 game?"
Cut me some slack, it was my only game
I luv British womenz.

From the American Conference, either Hartford or Cleveland will go. These are two VERY similar teams. Cleveland runs the ball better, Hartford throws the ball a little better. Defenses are about equal, although Cleveland has the advantage in 3rd down percentage.
From the National Conference, it will be Vancouver. I think they have too much firepower, and a good defense. Their only losses have come by a total of 4 points!

Ditto for my belief in my team.Originally posted by SuicaneI firmly believe that if we make the playoffs we will win it all
Taking into account current injuries, based on the "better record teams" I've scouted I feel I have one of if not the most complete teams in the IFL led by a QB on the rise with the benefit of a mentor. There are at least a couple of teams in the IFL that are great/spectacular in 1-2 areas but they each (from what I've seen) seem to have an "achiles heel" in another. As of now I don't fear matching up against any IFL team/style, only the odds of making the playoffs after a dreadful 3-5 start.
Of course that being said I just checked my schedule and my remaining games are a "who's who?" of the IFL playoff contenders.
IFL Bowl prediction: Phantoms 27 - WV Beasts 24
BTW - I don't always pick my team.
I've had 6-2 teams that I felt would crumble down the stretch. Also, this prediction is assuming honest play. One of my fears is that we end up recognizing that there is an exploiter in the league who's found a glitch in FOF MP allowing them to unrealistically/unfairly take advantage of the rest of the league.

It's funny you mention ahving good teams you think will crumble. I am still waiting for my team to do so. We are 7-1, but I think we are running out of smoke and I pray that we don't break any mirrors anytime soon!
On the flip side, its scary to think what my team would be doing if Scott Nelson had not gone down. Granted, his stats prior to his injury were not great, but he would have been good for my style of offense. I have been trying to compensate all year for the lack of a good QB. It's reduced my offensive style to dinks and chugs. That said, if this team pulls through, it would be great to see.
I still can't figure out how we turned the ball over 4 times in Anchorage and still won that game!

I hope we don't have an exploit going on ---
Vancouver is not a lock yet---come week 11 we'll revisit this. Many things can happen (SLC included) over the next two weeks that could toss this all up.
At 7-1, Hartford IS as good as its record in the AFC, but I want to see them against what I feel is the better conference, NFC opponents before I see them winning it all.
Madison, Lansing, Reno, Vancouver are all solid. And if Columbia could correct it's defense, they score a lot of points and could easily get 5 wins in the second half of the year.
And the wild card? SLC has quietly gone on a win streak and though they don't dominate , they seem to make the plays they need to win the close ones...those are the types of teams that upset the system <_<[Vito]Stallion

Sovstar, I didn't realize you had scored 226 points on offense --- you must be doing something wrong on D, bro' to keep surrending them points. I had to back off some things to get my boys to play better. I won't say what I had to back off of, but I'm betting you know

During this bye week I'm going to analyze my defense very deeply. Expect a fair amount of changes and possibly a new starting cornerback.Originally posted by VitoStallionSovstar, I didn't realize you had scored 226 points on offense --- you must be doing something wrong on D, bro' to keep surrending them points. Pimpin for the AFCS - cause nobody else would
The AFCS winner will win a PO game, no one and dones!
why, cause I said so! ha
just kidding, but I do consider the Mules to be lucky to be in such a "balanced" division, and whoever wins the division will have a home PO game, probably as a home PO dog though :lol:sigpic
