  • WARNING: LS Injury Glitch

I wanted to share this so that you do not get affected by the glitched in the system.

If you LS is injured and it states that he "can" play with various degrees of risk of injury (in my case no risk), then you MUST add a LS before the game. If you have 53 men on your roster, you have to release one and add a LS. The system WILL NOT" warn you before exporting that the AI will replace the LS. I will repeat. YOU CANNOT START AN INJURED LS. If you do, the system will release a player and sign a LS and then change personnel. There is NO recourse!

Personally, you should be able to replace a long snapper with a player on the team. If I had a throw away player i would had done that. (I did it in the past,...LOL)

    Pike,

Before we jump to conclusions, what is your "Use of Injured Players on Active Roster" set at?
    IFL Champions: 2031-2032, 2035, 2040, 2044
    AC North Division Titles: 2031-2037, 2039-2049, 2051-2052
    Playoff Appearances: 2030-2049, 2051-2052

The game had no problem playing injured players in the previous two weeks.

Like most things in FOF, there is a dice roll involved. So, when a player is questionable, he may play or he may be moved to the inactive list. Unless you have a high use of injury setting, that is. I suspect if you set your injury usage to 9, the "glitch" will go away.

Be aware there is risk to this approach. A player injured in a game will keep playing unless he is classified as "out". That player then risks being re-injured. But I dislike being AI'ed as you were and view the re-injury chance as small. I always keep my setting at 9.
