My guess is Columbia will win the Imperial bowl. They will face Orlando in the championship game and win on a last second drive engineered by JC.
The Superbowl will be a blowout.

      Columbia 31
      West Virginia 10

Hehe. In all seriousness, the NFC playoffs will be fun as hell to watch as I think there are 4 teams with a legitimate shot at winning the Conference.
As for the AFC, I can't be objective.
        I luv British womenz.

I haven't checked the NC picture, but I think the AC is going to be interesting.

WVA and Hartford split each winning at home
              WVA beat WIC
              Hartford beat WIC at Hartford
              Hartford beat Anchorage at home
Albuquerque lost to St. Louis at St. Louis
              Albuquerque lost to Anchorage twice
Anchorage beat St. Louis in the tundra
St. Louis lost to West Virginia in St. Louis

              Records against playoff teams:
Alb: 1-4; 0-3 against AC playoff teams
ANC: 5-1; 3-1 against AC playoff teams
HAR: 3-2; 3-1 against AC playoff teams
STL: 1-3; 1-2 against AC playoff teams
WVA: 3-2; 3-1 against AC playoff teams
WIC: 1-3; 0-2 against AC playoff teams

IMO, a good gauge is diffenential in points scored vs points against...and I think the team with the best mix of scoring o and scoring seems to do well in the playoffs I've been a part of in FOF...that's why I like the Beasts..plus it seems like teams do better their second trip through the playoffs with bye weeks, home field, etc...

Sounds like you're actually making an argument for the Fire to win.

                  WVA 19.5, Opp 14.8
                  CBA 19.7, Opp 12.5 (#1 differential)

West Virginia had a bye last year, Columbia did not. Now both have a bye.

I disagree with point differential. Is it a gauge? Yes, but only one of many. Most teams in the playoffs will have a pretty good point differential. Some teams, like Cleveland last year, and mine both years (I really wish I had a stud WR...), do not want to play in a shoot out. If we lose we get blown out, but if we win, it is a fairly close game.

A better gauge is turnovers. Not only how many, but situations are critical as well.

I think the NC is going to see Madison or Columbia come out of it, but if SLC gets hot, watch out!

In the AC, I think it is going to be WVA or ANC.

I like the way your thinking Lawerence!!! However, if we go anywhere in the playoffs we will need some miracles like last year. I would rather be lucky then good and I think this Orlando team is still lucky.

AQU v. WIC -- Should be a close game. I suspect ALB gets the win by 3 but Im biased and would like to see WIC win.

HAR v. STL -- Game will be decided by HAR pass defense. Since HAR gives up more pts than they score Im putting my ducket on STL by 10.

ANC should see AQU or WIC: ANC better hope that AQU beats WIC in the first rd. WIC matches up better against ANC that AQU. IF WIC survives AQU they make the conference championship. Otherwise ANC plays inthe big one.

WVA should see HAR or STL: WVA all the way

                            Albuquerque @ Wichita (-3)
The Outlaws 5th best O vs the Mats 6th best D. And the Mats 23rd ranked O vs the Outlaws 26th ranked D. Pretty even more or less. I think the Outlaws can win only if they win the turnover battle. Something they havn't been able to do all season with a margin of -17. It can't get any worse.

                            Prediction: Outlaws by 10

Burlington @ Salt Lake City (-4)
The Stallions are sportin the best overall offense in the league. Too bad their defense is sitting at 31st. Burlington's D just can't stand the pressure and the O is just trying to play keepup.

                            Prediction: Stallions by 14

                            Hartford @ St. Louis (-3)
The Cards have a -14 turn over margin. The Grizzlies have a great D. McMurry throws two ints after being pressured all day

                            Prediction: Grizzlies by 7

                            Little Rock @ Orlando (-10)
-10? What are those Vegas types smoking? This is going to be a defensive battle that is decided by who gets the best field position. Both McDermott and Street need to get well hydrated and get their puntin legs ready for this showdown. I'm not sure there will be 10 points in the whole game. But I am thinking upset. . .
                            Prediction: Toads by 3
