That movie had a profound effect on me in college, as well as Caddy Shack. They changed my life.

I would love to see that whole movie they were filming in the beginning.

What was it something like Attack of the Atomic Slime Creatures or something. And the scene where their Dad demanded a beer and they were pouring the dog's food dish into his empty.

Funny thing My wife hates that movie too.

Are you talking about trading within the utility? The answer to that would be no.

I just wanted to add a few words as "opening" up trading doesn't seem to be the best idea to me. I don't know, maybe someone asked Cringer if they could start talking about trades and he decided to go about answering that question by posting this thread.

Now there's nothing wrong with warming up discussions, but you've also got to realize that 12 teams aren't done with the season. That's 38% of the league. Personally, I don't know exactly where I'm going to be drafting nor do I know if I want to start ripping some of this team apart or not. It all depends on how far I get in the playoffs.

It's just my belief that if you make a trade this early, you'll more than likely receive less offers and therefore may not end up with the best deal. I'm not even exactly sure how trading for players would work out. I couldn't see myself making a deal before the season was ended without adding some sort of no-bust (Suicane will like that one) provision to the deal. Or perhaps you just traded a 40/45 guard for a 4th rounder and next season he booms and turns out to be a 75/85 guy. It could happen.

No, I thought Cringer or someone mentioned that there wouldn't be any trading of draft picks because it is such a pain in the ass, etc. Then again, I might have dreamt that...

Nah, we were referring to swapping picks in the game because someone kept falling down the board, not drafting in a timely manner. This year Cringer doesn't want anyone to slide down.
