Interesting. He just got that injury in today's game. Did he have a sprained knee earlier in the season?

At least we finished with some pride by stomping the crap out of Reno. This was by far our best game of the year:

              0 Turnovers
              2 penalties for a mere 10 yards
              5 QB sacks on Steiner

              1. Connell, while not impressive statically(13 rushes 37 yards) scores 2 HUGE tds to seal the win.
              2. Hamilton (20/35 251 yds) won the game, by playing mistake free football, and making good decisions. The O-line, which has been raped all year, played strong, only allowing 2 sacks.
              3. Martinez was unreal in this game, catching 4 passes, and turning them into 105 yards.
              4. Special Teams, player of the game
Martinez was on fire, returning 2 kicks for 120 yards and a TD, and
Moreau returning 1 kick for 81 yards and a TD.
Nelson was unstopable, smashing his way to 5 tackles, 2 assists, and 3 and a half sacks.

What more can I say? Despite Sov's grim misgivings of this team, and its GM, things are comming together, and looking damn good for a playoff run next year!

The nail is finally in the coffin for Phantoms play-off hopes despite a divisional win over tough Burlington.

Go Burlington and Orlando in the post-season!!

How 'bout that NFC East?!?!? No team under .500!

Now if you were in the AC East and had a Top 10 schedule and finished at .500 that'd be saying something!

Little bit of IFL trivia, 2 of the 3 winningest teams in IFL history are from what division?

                          2003 IFL AC East Runner-Up - Wildcard 10-6
                          2004 IFL AC East Runner-UP - Wildcard - AC Runner-up 10-5-1
                          2005 3rd Place AC East 6-10 2007 2nd Place AC East 8-8
                          2006 3rd Place AC East 7-9 2008 2nd Place AC East 9-7
2009 1st Place AC East, Imperial Bowl Champions 13-3

Sure enough, the NFC East faced off against the NFC North. Each team also got to play against Iowa City.
