Yeah, the 7 is pretty much confirmed. The 13 is worst case. I'm sure at least 4 of them are too cool to post in a friggin roll call though.

Iowa City: Pro formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 43 with nickel personnel and 3-deep zone coverage, keying aggressively on the pass.
4-11-IWC06 (4Q: 01:52) Samuel Hillery pass completed to WR Wade Peterson for 94 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Peterson gained 77 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw into double coverage. Iowa City 27, Newark 26




Man!!!! that sucked!!!! I thought that we had a legit chance to work you guys but we ccouldn't get a 1st down at the 3min to go mark.

IWC had the "familiar" message after 5 freaking plays!!!

glad to be part of such a great imperial bowl. unfortunately, we couldn't seal the deal. When you get so far and lose in this game, it really feels like a punch in the gut!!!.

anyway, great game Dawgfan. undefeated season and capped it with the title. What a magical season for IWC

Agreed, I thought we we're done with a 4th and 11 situation from our own 6 yard line. Then, magic happened. Samuel Hillery has made so many clutch plays over the last 5 season. Adding RB Stuvaints and WR Peterson in the past draft moved an already good offense to another level. Also, Levon Doyle's pick-6 early in the 3rd quarter was key - I felt the game was slipping away at that point. As far as the perfect season is concerned, IWC has been my 5th team to go 16 - 0 but only the 2nd of those teams to win the bowl.

For the record, there are only 5 players from the starting 22 offensive and defensive players who I did not acquire. And that includes a lot of effort to build a team with strong affinities and special teams. I'd consider IWC primarily a team I built. But you did draft 3 key players (Hillery, Zimmerman and LaBounty).
