  • how do you conditionally release a player

Roster limits. I want to sign a player and conditionally realease one on current roster if he signs? Is there a way to do that without violating roster limit rules? The beasts are getting dessimated with injuries this year.

Normally, you just sign a guy that is a free agent and then release the guy that you want that is on your roster. A dialog box will pop up asking if you want to make the release conditional on the signing you just made.

BUT if you are trying to sign someone in a gameday export, you have got to make sure that the player you release is ACTIVE and NOT in your depth chart. This will ensure that your active list will remain at 46 and that your depth chart will be fine.

what my friend up there said. make sure the guy you cut is active, but NOT on your depth chart if it is a gameday signing, or the computer messes with things.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.
