Postion question

I have a SLB I was considering switching to MLB but that option is not avail it shows he has 9 on the red bar for MLB. However when I go to change postion it says I can change him to WLB, CB, & S but no MLB option. Is this a flaw in game or what is happening?

Size limitations. He must be too light.

Just play him at MLB during the pre-season and see how he does.
