  • Week 17

Unlike last season all the division winners are already set with just a couple of Wild Card slots up for grabs.

In the NFC Orlando is locked in with Texas, Vancouver and Vermont fighting it out for the remaining position. Texas has a half game edge by virtue of their Week 9 tie against Madison. If they beat Little Rock they are in but they will still make it through if they lose as long as Vermont and Vancouver lose as well. Vancouver needs to win against division leader Calgary and for Texas to lose to make it in. Vermont needs a win and losses by both Texas and Vancouver.

In the AFC London and St Louis are both 9-6 and have the inside running on the two wildcard positions. If they win they're in. Madison at 8-6-1 are half a game behind and need a victory plus a loss by either the Monarchs or the Archers. Lansing and Columbia are at 8-7 and without the tie-breakers on hand not sure if they would qualify even if they win and everyone ahead of them loses.

At the other end of the scale it's Boston and Montreal in the battle for the 2033 1.1 selection.

Good luck to one and all!

Awful way to end the regular season with a loss to Vancouver but we won the division and have a home playoff game. Bring on Orlando!

We almost made it in, needed a Vancouver loss and we would have made it. Oh well, some good things came out of this season for us. Good luck to the playoff teams!

          GG Rawrster,

Sorry about the blowout score. But at least you made it to the dance.

Despite an injury early in the season, IWC Samuel Hillery had one of the best seasons recorded by a QB in the IFL. He set single season records for QBR at 127.3 and completion percentage at 76.2. He also threw 24 TDs vs. only 2 INTs.

Glad we have a bye to get a few players healthy.

Good luck to all the playoff teams. Once again we end up just on the outside of the playoffs. Disappointing season for LA.

The Seals have gone 5-11 2 years and a row. The only difference is this year we were mostly competitive in our games. We gave up less sack and the passing game really took shape and WR Stargell proved he is our guy. Good luck in the playoff everyone!

Lots of single-season records broken this year. Hillary, Kennedy, Hearon, Fife, O'Donnell. Nothing so ground-breaking by a Whale, but Mahe finally surpassed 4k yards passing for the first time in his career (and the first time for a Whale), and Teeter had 2117 total yards from scrimmage and was 2nd to Hearon in total TDs.
