    WOW GG Orlando...

We needed that WIN... Did not think it was going to happen... thankfully we had the ball at the end of the game...

Well we definitely need to win again to take the next step and some help still... but proud of our game this week...

GG Arizona. I'm thinking Santiago Money (15-30, 85 yards, 2 INT) is probably not our QB of the future.

        GG Penn!!

Did not think we would get another win for the rest of the season. My Defense was able to harrass your QB all game. I should have made the QB change much earlier in the year. I was getting excited for my draft position.

GG Madison. I am annoyed though. It really feels like we should have had that one. Our punt returner fumbles for an easy 4 yard td return to tie up the game. And then the 4th quarter our offense goes to sleep. This week and our loss against Lansing could be our undoing. Both were games we should have had, and bumble it away. Now we don't face Anchorage next week for the division title. We need to win to even hope for a playoff birth.

GG Jeremy! That was one heck of a special teams play by McElroy on the strip and score. Tell you another play where your team screwed up was the 3rd and 17 we had in the 4th quarter. We ran the ball for like 14 yards but there was a holding call and your team declined the penalty. Them 14 yards put us in FG range and we hit the 49 yarder to take the lead for good. Should have accepted the penalty and made it 3rd and 27, I highly doubt we get back in FG range if you accepted the penalty.

We need to win @Lansing this week to have any shot. Need a Dakota loss or a Arizona loss to get into the playoffs. SLC is still alive too I might add but they have a tough road game @Vancouver ahead. Hoping for a Dakota loss so we can win the division and get a home playoff game.

Good game IraB. Another close loss. All my games have been close this season, with the inexplicable exception of Newark.
Mahe threw 3 INTs. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he's injured, but I think in his last 2 games he may have played himself out of an all-pro berth.

Now we have to beat the defending champs that seem to have righted their ship this week. I have a bad feeling about this...

Or there is this sequence where we could have gotten some points:
Los Angeles: Single-Back formation with trips receivers, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 with dime personnel and strong-side man, otherwise cover-7 zone coverage, expecting the pass.
3-1-MAD31 (1Q: 02:31) Cory Hanks ran inside the right tackle for 0 yards. Tackled by DT Deron St. Louis.

Los Angeles: Strong formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, expecting the run. McCarthy and Woodcock are blitzing.
4-1-MAD31 (1Q: 01:55) Don Barrett pass completed to FB Hunter Lyon for 0 yards. Tackled by ILB Darren Pierce. The ball goes over on downs.

We have one of the best RBs in the league and can't get 1 yard against dime defense expecting the pass, and then can't gain a yard after completing a short pass against defense expecting the run.

                And this:

4-9-MAD27 (2Q: 10:46) Myron Conley attempted a 44 yard field goal and missed short of the crossbar.

That's what we get relying on a rookie kicker this year though.

Hat's off to you though Boss, you shut down Hanks all day.

                  GG StevenE,

We had a couple of chances in the 4th quarter to mount a comeback but fell short. The real problem was that we could not contain your ground game.

We'll need help now to win the division since Cleveland holds the tie breaker.

                    GG New Orleans,

Two picks and a lost fumble by our offense made the game close but it felt like our defense was in control for most of the day giving up only 201 yards and just 59 yards on 22 plays in the second half.

But the game came at a heavy price for us with three starters injured one of who, rookie CB Pedro Franz, is out for 16 weeks with a hamstring injury.

So for us it comes down to the last game of the season which we must win and we need Texas to lose. With the injuries we have even if we qualify for the playoffs we look unlikely to progress far.

Hey GG to you too. You guys deserved that win. At this point I am just hoping for no more injuries when the playoffs start.

Nah Mark, you and Argot should get in -- we're not consistent this year. I have no idea which team is going to show up Week 17.
