    Crap, the Toads blow it!

Dixon didnt run the ball at all basically, and even though my FB Leigh ran well I should have run much more to eat up the clock. Anchorage and their rookie QB had a nice little comeback on me.

Of course I still could have won, but Given throws a late INT, and then I have a missed FG that would have tied up the game A 32 yarder? SHIT! Go ahead and rub that missed kick in sovstar.....

    Congrats to Anchorage.

I really wanted to close the gap with Burlington but we just did not want this win. Missed field goal at the end of the 4th to win it. Missed field goal in OT and then an interception deep in our territory in OT for the Wichita win. Very depressing. I am pleased with Dewitt Flynn's running this year. He missed week one but has been a monster all year. Keep losing Burlington. We will try and get 2 wins in a row. We have 2 home games back to back. When you come into Pirate territory watch your wallet and watch the score!!

I'm glad I faced Oakland this year and not next. I need to make sure that I change all my defensive game plans next week, not just the normal gameplan. I never expected to get a huge lead and it did not hold because of it.

EDIT: I forgot to add, the AC East is VERY interesting, just one game separates 1st and 3rd place with Norfolk two games. If our last place team, Norfolk, was in another division, they would be fighting for the division lead in several!

          2003 IFL AC East Runner-Up - Wildcard 10-6
          2004 IFL AC East Runner-UP - Wildcard - AC Runner-up 10-5-1
          2005 3rd Place AC East 6-10 2007 2nd Place AC East 8-8
          2006 3rd Place AC East 7-9 2008 2nd Place AC East 9-7
2009 1st Place AC East, Imperial Bowl Champions 13-3

My game at Fresno was rougher than the score would have you know. I about had a heart attack after Fresno capped off their 80-yard scoring drive (their only one).

They seemed to be passing at will. The score 10-7. Then the #3 pick showed up. Oliver McKenzie picked off a ball at our 6 yard line to stop what looked like was going to be the go-ahead drive. Then immediately after they get the ball back, McKenzie picks another off and returns it for 57 yards and a TD. That was the dealbreaker - huge momentum shit. Fresno only managed 26 total yards from that point on (over a quarter's worth of play).

Ramos and Whitaker were both back to the form they were at last year. Both had 100-yard games (receiving).

Edit: No new injuries either which is very nice this point in the year.

On to Madison in Week 13 for the biggest game in the league yet this year. What's at stake? The #1 seed in the NFC.

Chaplin's 5 picks kinda blew it. Never really felt out of this game. We had a 1yd TD run called back due to holding, and had to settle on a FG.

I am thinking this is a bit of an understatement. 3 or 4 of those were all on your last few drives.

Drive killers! missed the 2pt conversion to tie. Then Chaplin goes and throws a few picks on attempted game winning drives

Close game. Hell I tried to give the OT FG you missed by winning the toss and going for it on 4-2 at my own 42. That was a gift you missed out on. This is the crap that costs a coach his job.

4-02-WIC42 (12:35) WIC 36 Cook ran inside the left tackle for 1 yard.
                        Tackled by ORL 53 Marshall.
The ball goes over on downs.

                        Possession to Orlando.

1-10-WIC43 (12:27) ORL 43 Flynn ran a trap outside the left tackle for 4 yards.
                        Tackled by WIC 47 Williams.

2-06-WIC39 (12:05) ORL 43 Flynn ran inside the right guard for 3 yards.
                        Tackled by WIC 94 Baker.

3-03-WIC36 (11:43) ORL 10 Hynes pass fell incomplete, intended for 88 Edmonds.
WIC 74 Munroe hurried the quarterback into a bad throw.

4-03-WIC36 (11:35) ORL 6 Christmas attempted a 53 yard field goal and missed short of the crossbar.
ORL 38 Spraggins was injured on the play.

Won 24-7 but it was much closer than that. Everytime we tried to pull away Pitt would fight back, and everytime they had a chance to make a move we would stop them. A late TD extended the lead but it was a really good game.

                          WEEK 12 NOTES
                          1. Horrible loss at home for Little Rock as they totaly blew it giving up 15 points in the last 8 minutes. This game may have cost them the division.

                          2. Burlington got shocked in Iowa City, not bad enough to lose to a 2-8 team but they could have nearly locked up the division with a win.

                          3. Nice win for Cleveland, not only putting a blow to Lawrences playoff hopes but also keeping themselves in the hunt, Cleveland has had every chance to fall to the wayside but have had a really good stretch and refuse to fade away.

                          4. Columbia takes care of buisness and Hartford does as well, although it was much harder for Hartford.

                          5. Madison goes into Louisana and wins a very tough game against the Voodoo on a last second FG. Tough home loss for the Voodoo as it's beggining to look like the AFC South loser will not make the playoffs.

                          6. Montreal vs Newark And Houston vs Lansing are both really good games despite the teams being out of it.

                          7. Wichita over Orlando was a GREAT game. In the end though it ends up as almost a wash as a Burlington loss and a Cleveland win keep both teams where they were coming into the day.

                          8. Tulsa edges Portland, with Mulchahy down it may be the end of the road for Portland as far as this season is concerned while Tulsa is able to stay in the hunt.

                          9. Norfolk edges out Reno and Boston stops Vancouver to continue the clusterfucks that are the AFC East and the NFC West.

                          10. The one bright spot for the NFC West today, although maybe the most unexpected was SLC nutting up and stopping West Virginia. SLC suddnenly is right back in things while WV is suddenly in the middle of a 4 team dogfight that I can't believe they expected to be in.
                          I luv British womenz.

                            Aggressive D worked!

I put in a much more aggressive D and it worked out for me. While I got toasted for a lot of yards, 3 ints, a forced fumble and 4 sacks were the big plays I needed from my D. Good game Lawrence. Rumor has it we sent some top notch escorts over to the referee's hotels last night to help us out also

Mules are pathetic on 3rd down, both on O and D.

Willoughby better get better at managing drives or he will be benched to close the season.

I think this was the first shutout for the Mules, what a terrible game by the O.

Fargo just ran over the Mules, but they only managed 2 FG's.

Mules only managed 1 FG, but of course they missed it
