Made the change and get errors now....blah. Will use the uploader.

Reinstalled everything, it works. Capital letters suck, shouldn't be used for files and folders.

Same thing for you Cring.

Hopefully we can figure this stuff out.

Ok. I've scrubbed everything and begun the whole process again.
Followed steps 1 thru 8 and still getting the same error after step 8.
I don't get the chance to do step 9.

On the team name chart my team are down as Wichita Outlaws.
Should be London Monarchs....Is that the issue?

Any ideas?

I have yet to install on my laptop, which i will try now.

otherwise, I'm going to re-do the intial game file download and see if somehow that helps people.

it's hard to trouble shoot these types of things remotely.

that chart was just used by me. the important thing is that you match up the nfl team to the IFL teamID. Just a cross reference.

not sure if this makes a difference, but when people are doing this, hoping that they are choosing to start a new MP game from the MP window and not hitting the "+" sign in the top LH corner.

i'm not even sure this would work properly, but just throwing it out there.

Yep, I've gone with the Baltimore cross reference anyhow.

Guess it wouldn't be a FOF product without some set up issues.
I've never known a game like it for being such a pain in the behind!

So you downloaded the zip in 6 and copied all the files into the leagues\Imperial folder? They aren't in some sub-folder or the folder isn't named improperly? Those are my first two ideas.

I made sure I didn't do this on each rip and replace. It's baffling b/c I can pull an import (says no saved game files to import) and I can connect to the ftp server no problems. Just can't overwrite/write to the location.

There should be a saved game to import. So that isn't working either.

Matt I found my issue--it's the VPN tunnelling. When I disabled the VPN and tried, it worked. Turned it back on and I get the 12002 errors

Not sure why it works with RNFL server and not ours but this is the issue. I'm looking at how to allow this traffic with less security out of the VPN server.

FWIW I did the "imperial" - like I always did

instead of the "Imperial" so I am back to square 1.

Going well, but I need the Mules password again.
