Nice!!! Of course, should I bring up more damage than a little AI shuffling was done to the Boston future because of lost 2nd and 3rd round picks in prior sims due to cap violations. OK, I won't bring up that topic.

This has to be the worst cap management I have ever seen in 17 real life years of playing this game

I guess I must use a calculator, as I didn't know you could lose a 2nd round pick for cap violations. I knew 3rd rounders were on the table. Wow.

I did not know either that the game would cause a 2nd round forfeit if a team did not have a 3rd. The years used were also interesting. The initial 3rd round forfeit was two years in the future, 2058 as opposed to 2057. Extending that logic, if a team has dealt a number of 2nd and 3rd picks, a 1st round pick could potentially be lost (just speculating here).

Well, there is a simple explanation. I made several offers. I made an offer to an OT and then I spotted another OT that I preferred. I couldn't find the button to remove the offer (I found it later). So, I exited the game and re-imported and then we did everything. Well, almost everything, I forgot to release a player. The second incident was similar, but in the case, I accidentally closed the program before exporting. Again, I quickly did it and I forgot to do a few moves. The result was i over the cap again.

This off-season was the proverbial, what could go wrong did go wrong.

Just to be clear, your explanation to Dawgfan above mentions nothing about connectivity issues

I didn't say anything about connectivity.
I said I I thought I had exported the correct stage. I ask for a midweek so that i can sort out my roster with interference from the AI.

You are very aggressive and antagonistic. This is supposed to be fun for all. Relax.

The actual term was "technical difficulties". Forgetting to cut a guy or forgetting to export are not "technical difficulties". Oh well. Lesson learned. I won't be letting the holiday season sway me into off-season midweeks or moving the schedule.

I responded to comments made about my actions. I courteously responded to why I screwed up.

@ Hooper I told why and you stated after a sim that I submitted the wrong stage. You did the right thing. I would be on board with anyone in a similar situation. This is fun.

I guess my error was not just saying, “Midweek please” like everyone else. TMI.

For the record, "Midweek please" would not be adequate for an off-season midweek that requires moving the entire preseason. Those requests are for open days during the season. This goes for everyone, not just you.

My first post was here. I wrote this

I don't know what is happening,... i keep importing the game files and when I export I keep getting the same issues???
Now I do not have a playbook. See mid week request thead.

side note: I didn't do a playbook but one was there. Did it default to my previous playbook?

In the OP you wrote that I had the wrong stage.

25 files imported. LON & BOS wrong stage/

Hey Hooper,

Due to the technical difficulties, I needed to make offers to players, I will be over my limit of 60 since I cannot guarantee that I will get every player I made a lot of offers. I missed two uploads, so I am desperate to have a midweek to sort everything out.

The context for the "technical difficulties" were in the first post in the original thread about the last sim. I still do not know why i was exporting the wrong stage.

This is all a bit too much for something that is supposed to be for fun.
