Kurt Bice
Knows as the IFL's "Randy Moss", Kurt can do it all. Catch, block, make the big plays, get that critical 3rd down, the list goes on. He was Oaklands team MVP last year, and that doesn't expect to change.
Only starting 12 games last year due to injury, Bice still racked up 50 catches for 942yds and 7 touchdowns, averaging a staggering 18.8yds a catch. Rumor has it this could be Bice's last year with the Assassins, expect him to make a statement this year, proving to the league he is worth the huge payday that he will certainaly request.
Ernest Martinez
While not as flashy has Bice, Martinez is more of a "Jerry Rice" type. Fundamentally sound, running his routes to perfection and outworking defensive backs for the catch, he rolled to 1000 recieving yards, and 7 touchdowns last year, in what was a "down" year for him. With a healthy defensive this year, expect huge numbers from this guy.
Christopher Tessier
Another of Oaklands excellent recieving corps, Tessier had an off year last year, but expects to bounce back in a huge way. Formally the number two reciever for Oakland prior to Bice's arrival, Tessier showed the ability to put up good numbers with 641 yards and 3 touchdowns in Hamiltons second year. While he doesn't expect to post noticable stats behind the "dynamic duo" of Bice and Martinez, he is a solid thread on 3rd downs, and in a backup role.
Chris Mann
Hamiltons 4th option, but don't mistake that for his last option, Chris Mann is a dangerous reciever. Hidden amoung the other standouts, Mann can slip into the backfield unnoticed for critical catchs, and don't think Hamilton doesn't know he is there. Given the opportunity, Mann could easily surpass 700 yards and 5 touchdowns in a starting role.
Next week, we look at the new and improved Oakland offensive line, which will called upon heavy this year with the move to a more balanced offensive.
